Registration and Visit

Until the completion of the AdA location in the Blockhaus, the Archiv der Avantgarden (AdA) is temporarily at home in the Japanisches Palais (Japanese Palace). If you are planning on visiting us, please note that we currently have no fixed opening hours and therefore registration is mandatory. Please use the contact form on our website and be sure to include the following information:

•     Reason for your visit
•     Specification of the research topic (as accurate as possible)
•     Date proposal (date and time)

Please understand that visits are only possible from Monday to Friday, 10-17 clock and only by personal appointment. It is not possible to visit on weekends and public holidays.

Reproductions and Publications

It is generally not allowed to take photographs of documents and objects.

 However, to protect copyrights and personal rights, the decision as to whether reproduction is possible always depends on the document.
